What to do?

I bought this mirror for $20 at a garage sale last summer.  I love the size but the color just isn't my fav.  What to do?  Should I strain it darker?  Should I paint it...white? black? turquoise?  Should I leave it the same?  Dr. J of course says leave it the same.  The man hates projects.  He also happens to light plain, light wood. What can I say, we are opposites :)
